About This Station

Llangorse Weather is a personal weather station situated just outside the village powered by an Oregon Scientific WM918 system. The data is collected every 10 seconds using the Weather Display PC software and the site is updated every 30 seconds.

About Llangorse

The village of Llangorse is located about 6 miles east of Brecon town in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The village and surrounding area is an ideal holiday location for Walking, Cycling and Horse Riding.

Llangorse Lake, a few minutes walk from the village is the largest natural lake in South Wales covering an area of 327 acres. The lake is used for a variety of activities including Fishing, Sailing, Windsurfing and Water Skiing. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and an important wildlife haven in the area.
